Traditional Sushi Making Kits

These kits contain a combination of a treadmill traditional sushi (“Makisu"), white rice paddle, and ingredients making sushi. Here is a list of things to look at and be aware when considering these kits.

Sushi Treadmill

There are two types of styles available. flat broad slides were and the other small bamboo sticks around the diameter of a toothpick. I prefer the one with broad flat blades personally.

It is stiffer and I feel like I have more control over it during rolling. Some people prefer the other. In general, we say that the carpet with small sticks is preferable to manufacture smaller diameter rolls – like the one ingredient hosomaki roll. A tuna roll is an example of an ingredient 1 hosomaki roll.
